Advance Pottery Workshop

This is a 30 sessions long course consisting of various advanced techniques and tips for people who have had experience on the potter’s wheel and have worked with clay. This is a recommended follow-up course 

What we will learn 

You will be taught how to create complex and difficult shapes on the wheel, how to centre and work with one kilo or more clay on the wheel and advance hand building and decorating techniques. You will also learn various carving and manipulating techniques. Experimenting with various glaze application techniques will also be covered in this course.

Prerequisites 

• Members are requested to bring their Aprons, Dairy, Pen and a water bottle

Course Details

The 30 sessions are open to be chosen from any days from Monday to Friday . Each session is of 2.5 hours. The advancement of techniques will depend upon the learning pace and creativity of the student.

Fees: ₹ 24,000

Venue : The Orby House, beside delhi world public school phase-3, Mohoba bazar, Kabir Nagar, Raipur, Chhattisgarh, 492099

Clay charges: Any extra clay purchased ₹ 40/- per kg

Firing and glazing charges: ₹ 500/- per kg

If you want to experiment with your own glaze recipes the materials cost will be extra.
